Its CEO & Creative Director, Ben Ruiz, was recognized recently for his 24 years of continuous service to the non-profit Corn Island Storytelling Festival in Louisville, Kentucky and its international storytelling publication, The Tale Trader, for which he served as editor since 1994.

The National Storytelling Network has given the National Oracle Award to Ben in recognition for his work in the Southeast Region, “for exemplary leadership and service and significant contributions to the community through storytelling.”
